Crescendo is the most significant upgrade to the Flow network since genesis. This upgrade includes full EVM Equivalence for all developers on Flow as well as marking the point of maturity for the Flow native programming environment with Cadence 1.0.
Flow Mainnet Maintenance
Flow Mainnet will be undergoing an upgrade on Wednesday, 4 September 2024, from 12 pm to 6 pm UTC (5 am to 11 am PT), transitioning from Mainnet 24 to Mainnet 25.
Flow Mainnet will be unavailable between 12 pm to 6 pm UTC on that day.
The Flow access nodes will be turned off during that time.
ACTIONS needed from node operators on 4th Sep 2024:

If you are running an access node, please shut down the access nodes by 11:45 am UTC on 4th Sept.

For all other node types (Consensus, Collection, Verification, Execution), please shut down your node at 12 pm UTC on 4th Sept.

At around 5 pm UTC on 4th Sept, a message will be posted on the message forum and on Discord requesting you to start your nodes. Please be on the lookout for the message. Ensure that you have subscribed for updates on the forum page or have joined the Discord #flow-validators channel.

Perform Step 1 and then Step 2 when you see the announcement “Mainnet Spork Complete” on the forum or Discord.
Note: Flow Port will be inaccessible during the duration of this network upgrade, and staking features will be disabled until the completion of the network upgrade.
