Unable to access Flow Port with Ledger

I’m having trouble logging into my account via Port using my Ledger. On my Ledger Nano S+ 78AC I can view the address and key and they are the same as I have been using for a year or more, but when I go to access the wallet and select Ledger as an option to log in, it doesn’t find any accounts and tells me to create a new account. This was working as of two weeks ago with no changes on my end. Firmware hasn’t changed and is up-to-date and Flow app is unchanged at 0.13.0. Any idea what could be causing the issue?

How many Flow accounts are you anticipating to see? I suspect the account is a legacy account. We’ll look into it. Thanks for reporting

@michaelh Can you verify if all your accounts show up? We pushed a few changes. Thanks

Just checked and I can now access the one account that was missing before. Thanks so much for pushing the changes so quickly! Should I move the funds to a newer non-legacy account or is there anything else I should do to make sure I maintain access going forward?

“Legacy” has to do with the derivation path on the Ledger device, new standards rely on a new pattern. Shouldn’t be an issue going forward. Something to keep in mind, also “legacy” path isn’t Flow blockchain specific, I had to work around this exact issue a few years back working on ethereum dapps. So it’s a known thing.

Got it, thanks again for the help
