Looking for sample Cadence code for transferring flow on emulator and testnet

Hi,

I am looking for sample cadence and JS code to transfer FLOW tokens from one account to another. Ideally I can test this on both the local emulator and testnet before using it on mainnet. I am having problems with the code samples that are out there as I think most of them are using an outdated version of cadence?
