I am a game developer and I am lucky to come to flow, and I am ready to start decentralized development from here.
Does flow have plans to be a distribution platform like steam?
I think there’s definitely an opportunity for platforms like Steam to exist on Flow, and maybe even Steam itself!
Flow itself, however, is just the base layer blockchain protocol. We aren’t focused on distribution and I’m sure somebody else can do it better than us anyways!
@longer what kind of games do you build? I know some people have been experimenting a bit with Unity on Flow lately.
As an independent game developer, UNITY is my favorite development engine, and of course Unreal is also a good choice. Looking forward to the UNITY SDK, it will be more convenient to develop.
