My name is Micky, I’m a high school student and I’m pretty new to all this but wanted to get involved and make a difference. In lockdown I started researching blockchain and came across Flow.
I only have basic programming skills and needed some advice on what languages I should learn to become proficient with the Flow blockchain. Any advice at all would be great!!

Hey Micky! It is great to have you in the community. 
As for what languages you should get familiar with, it kind of depends on what you are interested in.
If you are more interested in building apps, then javascript is your best best
If you’d like to get deeper into the protocol and lower level code, the I would look at Golang!
Either way, learning Cadence is a necessity if you are interested in Flow. There are a TON of companies who are hiring Cadence developers right now, so it is super valuable to learn.
