# 📣 Reminder: Flow mainnet network upgrade (spork) tomorrow, 8th Nov at 8 AM Pacific

Reminder that there will be a Flow mainnet network upgrade (spork) tomorrow, 8th Nov starting at 8 AM Pacific.

The Flow access nodes will be turned off during that time. Once the spork is complete, at around 8:30 AM PT, a message will be posted on the message forum and Discord requesting you to start your nodes.

Please ensure you have subscribed for updates on [Mainnet Sporks - Flow Community](https://forum.onflow.org/c/mainnet-sporks) or have joined the Discord #flow-validators channel.

We will request you to start your node at around 8:30 AM Pacific.

ACTIONS needed from your side tomorrow:

Perform Step 1 ([Spork Process | Flow Developer Portal](https://docs.onflow.org/node-operation/spork/#step-1---cleaning-up-previous-spork-state)) and then Step 2 ([Spork Process | Flow Developer Portal](https://docs.onflow.org/node-operation/spork/#step-2---start-your-node)) when you see the announcement “Mainnet Spork Complete” on the forum or Discord.

Flow Port staking downtime during spork: Note that Flow Port will be inaccessible during the duration of this spork, and staking features will be disabled until 8:00 AM Pacific Time on 11/9/23.
