I have a requirement to scan through blocks from the beginning (or atleast a year back blocks) and find events related to my NFT.

If I have to use `GetEventsForHeightRange`, what should I use for start\_range?

Querying events can be a heavy task. I would recommend using event indexing services such as [Graffle](https://graffle.io/)

I’m not entirely sure what the start\_range would be a year ago from but it may be useful to check out the [Past Sporks Info](https://docs.onflow.org/node-operation/past-sporks/#mainnet-6) page on our docs and find the block height from a spork from a year back 🙂
