Just to clarify, transactions and scripts will continue to be sent to the network and processed across the nodes in the network in source form, just like they are now. Only individual nodes will compile, as an “implementation detail”. As far as I can see, Access Nodes will not need to compile, only Execution and Verification Nodes.
