# Attach VSCode to a running emulator?

Is there any way to “attach” the VSCode extension to an emulator already running in the terminal?

Thanks @pdahlberg! I’ve been thinking about this use case lately. We’ve started putting more work into the VS Code extension, so expect to see some updates over the next few weeks
